Aimed at early-stage trainees in respiratory medicine and surgery, this one-day course offers a practical foundation in bronchoscopy. Through focused lectures and hands-on simulation, participants will build confidence in airway anatomy, equipment handling, and core diagnostic techniques using both flexible and rigid scopes.
This one-day course provides participants with basic knowledge and skills on chest tube insertion and management. The course involves oral presentations, including a refresher on chest wall anatomy, and a skills lab, with step-by-step guidance for insertion of a drain by Seldinger technique and by using an open technique with blunt dissection.
